I’m a Celebrity star Ant and Dec who has a ‘swear jar’ in the jungle… for every mention of Wagatha Christie!

I’m a Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec plan ‘Wagatha Christie’ jokes at Rebekah Vardy’s expense when her nemesis Coleen Rooney appears on the show this month.

The plan includes putting money in a ‘swear jar’ every time the duo reports the Wags’ (footballers’ wives and girlfriends) libel case.

Writers are also considering Cluedo-style duties when the show returns to ITV on Sunday, November 17, with former England captain Wayne Rooney’s wife reportedly set to receive a record £1.5million.

Sources say Ant and Dec will tease about Mrs Rooney’s social media post five years ago when she accused the wife of Leicester striker Jamie Vardy of leaking stories about her to the media.

To find the informant, Ms Rooney, 38, posted made-up stories that could only be seen by Ms Vardy, 42. The stories then appeared in a national newspaper.

Ms Rooney then wrote: ‘It’s… Rebekah Vardy’s account.’ The punch line ‘It’s…’ is expected to have a prominent place in the programme.

A show insider said: ‘Conversations about scripts and processes generate hilarious ideas, like a curse jar.

‘Another plan is to have tasks based on a Cluedo-like idea with Coleen as the detective. But there are reports that Rebekah is getting lawyers to watch the show because she owns the trademark of the phrase Wagatha Christie.

‘It will all be ironic, but Rebekah probably won’t see it that way. She’s still very bitter.’

The defamation battle over Ms Rooney’s social media claim ended in defeat for Ms Vardy, who was left with a £3million legal bill, including her rival’s costs.

They remain locked in High Court hearings over costs, some of which Ms Vardy wants to write off as unreasonable.

She appeared on the show in 2017, when it was believed she had received £100,000. She was the third contestant to be evicted.

Others expected to appear this month include McFly pop star Danny Jones, former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos, ex-Strictly dancer Oti Mabuse and boxing legend Barry McGuigan.
