Police are investigating a dairy robbery in Stratford after a firearms sighting was reported

Police are investigating a robbery at a dairy in Stratford last night.

The Southern Dairy on the corner of Broadway/SH3 and Celia St was reportedly robbed last night, with police called to the scene at 7.10pm.

A witness reported seeing a firearm. Police on site spoke to witnesses and searched the area on Wednesday evening.

A police spokesperson said the incident is being investigated as a robbery and investigations are underway.

Those investigations included exploring CCTV footage of the area, the spokesperson said.
