Ant Anstead Calls Girlfriend Renee Zellweger ‘The Missus’ While Praising Her in New ‘Bridget Jones’

Ant Anstead shows off his “missus” – and her acting skills!

On Tuesday, November 12, the British TV host, 45, shared the trailer for the highly anticipated fourth Bridget Jones video on Instagram with much praise for his girlfriend of more than three years, Renee Zellweger55.

“The missus was busy being brilliant this summer… she is a blossoming Bridget genius!” Anstead wrote next to the Bridget Jones: Crazy about the boy trailer.

He also had some choice words for Zellweger’s on-screen love interest. “Oh and Leo…,” the Born mechanic star added of actor Leo Woodall, 28, “we need to chat quietly in a dark alley… x.”

Anstead and Zellweger – who share a home together in Orange County, California – started dating after meeting on the set of Anstead’s Discovery+ show Famous IOU: Joyride in June 2021.

The couple largely keeps their love life a secret. However, the car expert recently discussed what it’s like to have a romance with someone as famous as Zellweger – and how “normal” she really is off camera.

When asked what it’s like to be in a relationship that is ‘watched so minutely by total strangers’ on the talk show Jeremy Vine at 5Anstead revealed that this isn’t something he thinks about often.

“I mean, ultimately it’s going to be examined microscopically, I’m sure, but I don’t really think about that,” he said. “She’s so incredibly normal and I often forget she’s famous.”
